Hello,

after I had tried every single step provided in the FAQ (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/91/Can%27t+Connect+%7B47%7D+Failed+to+Start+PostgreSQ L+), I had to uninstall PostgreSQL and reinstall.
However, my version I used was 8.2. The version, I now have, is 8.3.
Therefore, HEM doesn't seem to get grip of my older hands.

The /data in the /8.2 folder is still there (~60GB), so I hope there's a way to import this data to the 8.3 DB somehow?

Thank you!

This is not possible. Postgres can recognize only databases created in the same version. If it was 8.2.x - only 8.2 will see them. And so on.
You have 2 choices:
- or try again to install the same Posgres version (using old "data" folder as new database cluster)
- or simply create new database in HM and import original hand histories in it.
You can find them in c:/hmarchive - use Import from folder to do this.
