Please try stopping all HM related processes in the task manager, and/or reboot. If you are still having problems, please start a new thread in the general or bugs section, with as many details as possible so we can help you get it working again as quickly as possible.

OK here we go, tried everything I could think of.

Eventually removed and reinstalled HM from an earlier version then attempted to patch it up to Beta 14a to fix FRP issues (the only site I play on).

Everything seems to work fine up until the beta patch is applied then HM refuses to load, no splash screen appears and the process just sits in my task manager chewing 50% CPU load until I kill it.

Incidentaly if I try to download the basic install files to start from scratch from holdemmanger.net the zip seems to be corrupted every time.

My virus scanner software is turned off while Im doing all this so its not that.

Thanks,

G.

Operating system? If Vista, check that UAC is off - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

If you have any 3rd party firewalls, uninstall them completely, and turn off the windows firewall, as well as your anti-virus. Once you are able to get it working, we can set exceptions in the firewall. (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171)

Make sure you reboot if you turn off uac or uninstall any firewall/anti-virus. I recommend Revo Uninstaller.

Also try this, and see if any of it helps. - http://208.109.95.123/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=34

If none of that helps, please email fabio@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so you can schedule a Teamviewer (http://www.teamviewer.com) session. Download and install the Teamviewer software using all the default settings.

So now I'm trying to patch my HM up to latest BETA having purchased table manager etc...

Once again it refuses to patch and leaves me with a dead holdem manager.

I want to strip it back to a basic install and patch it from there but the holdemmanager.zip file that should give me a clean install appears corrupted every time I try to download it from holdemmanager.net

Ive tried it now with winzip, 7zip, winrar - they all claim CRC errors.

This is intensely frustrating and I've wasted several hours already - also tried downloading it on other computers with the same problem.

Try downloading this copy that I uploaded to my own personal server. Perhaps it is an issue with fileburst.

holdemmanager.zip (http://fozzypokermods.com/HM/holdemmanager.zip)

Right Click > Save Link/Target as...

Thanks Fozzy - that file works perfectly so I can now install the original HM files.

My problem now is if I download the latest beta and try to install it the package seems to not install all files and HM becomes instantly broken again when I try to run it. Perhaps this could also be a fileburst issue, could you maybe upload the latest beta on your server and I can try it from there?

Thanks!

HmUpdate23.exe (http://fozzypokermods.com/HM/HmUpdate23.exe)

If you still have problems, reboot, and run the installer immediately after booting up.
