I can't get HM to import hands. My OS is Vista 64, don't know if that is related to the problem. I have checked and rechecked my import folders. Hands are appearing there, HM just isn't importing them. I don't know what else to try. Help!

PS - tables are not appearing in the table manager either. Also updated to 1.09 beta 13... no help.

What poker site? Did you have it working previously or is this a first install?

Please make sure UAC is off - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

Add exceptions to your firewall or uninstall it completely to see if it helps - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Answer those questions and let me know if those FAQs help. If not we may want to take a look at it to try and resolve it promptly.

I spoke too soon. Now I can see the tables in the table manager but still not importing. Site is FT. I don't think I've had it working on this computer (but I have hands in my database?).

Stars client and Windows are in English? Can you verify that it is writing the HHs and they are in English? What firewall are you using? Did you set exceptions in it or try uninstalling it?

If none of that helps I will probably have you setup a remote support session so we can take a look at it.

It is full tilt. Everything in English. Verified English HH's. I turned off the Windows firewall, no help. I'm willing to try the remote session if you get a chance.

Please email fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer (http://www.teamviewer.com) session. Download and install the Teamviewer software using all the default settings.

If you can do it right away, go ahead and start teamviewer, set it on presentation, and email me the id/password. I should then be able to connect and open a chat window. It is getting late, but I will take a quick look at it, and hopefully it's something simple and obvious that I can take care of quickly.

I am having the exact same problems as the OP in this thread. I have went over the threads and faq but couldn't find a solution to my problem. I was wondering if you and the OP figured it out yet.

Hope to hear from you soon. TIA

Please give us some more details:
Did you try all the standard Vista things?

Answer and post the questions in this FAQ: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

I forgot to write the solution for the OP in my time sheet notes, when I did the remote support. :O

IIRC, he simply had the FTP hand history folders set wrong as well as the HM auto import folders.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was my problem. I followed everything in the faq or so I thought.

I'm on my way out right now but would love to know how to figure out if i have the hand history folders set wrong etc etc as I wouldn't be surprised if that is my problem also. I'm not very computer savy so this has been a struggle from the get go.

I really hope that your anwser is a simple one. :)

Thanks for the help so far.

Quickest solution I believe is if you email me: fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer (http://www.teamviewer.com) session. Download and install the Teamviewer software using all the default settings.
