first disable preffered seating in room and set all preffered seatings in HM to "--"
go to Table prefs and tick Card & Alignment edit
then open ONE table, play some hands, wait stats to appear and arrange stats
and mucked cards in correct positions
Do Table manager - save positions and close this table
Then enable preffered seating in room and set HM preffered seatings,
untick Card alignment
Open new table and play some hands to check all is OK

Turn off User Account Control: How to Disable and Turn Off UAC in Windows 7 « My Digital Life (http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/30/how-to-disable-and-turn-off-uac-in-windows-7/)

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.

guess i didnt make it clear in my first post , sorry, but hem is working fine on merge network, so i am assuming its not gonna be uac or firewall issues,

when i sit on merge waiting for blind , huds appear but they are over wrong player, as soon as i play hand the hud adjust to correct player, and if i change seat pref in hem , huds adjust accordingly,

however this used to be the case on bodog as well, now huds appear but over wrong seat(unless u get lucky and sit in seat 1 i suppose) and they never adjust to correct position after i play hand, and changing seat pref in hem doesnt alter stats orientation.... thx in advance and sorry i am computer fish:)

bodog doesnt have preferred seating, i tried the above , no luck

You have to use the HUD Options > Player Preferences > Appearance > [x] Fix My Stats Position. That will lock the hero stats in the same position on every table, regardless of where you sit. Make sure you also add your hero name to the HUD Options > Setup hero Names.

cant get bodog handgrabber to save hands.....

In my experience, this is usually caused by the anti-virus software. Set exceptions in any/all security/firewalls for the handgrabber (and HM, and the bodog client).

Or better yet, try uninstalling it completely:

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with holdem manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/275/Windows+Firewall+%7B47%7D+Defender+Problems
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - Virus, Spyware & Malware Protection | Microsoft Security Essentials (http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/)
