hello,

I've noticed the following: if I am AI preflop with less stack than other 2 player and they call, the HM gives me the equity and ev diff according to the moment of the hand when they go AI or 100% if I won in SD and 0 equity if I loose

eg I has AKs and OR, one player raises, another calls, and I go AI, in this moment vs TT and AQo I have a 38%

in the flop Q72 they go AI and I have a 12%, this is the equity that HM shows and uses to calculate the ev diff, but I went AI preflop, and I think that the HM should use the equity that I had then

thanks

In multiway pots the EV is calculated when no more actions are possible:

I know, but I think that it should be calculated when no more actions are possible for me, not in general, because its my ev, and if I go AI before all the players arrive to the point when no more actions are possible

The equity of winning the hand is the equity that I have when I go AI, and makes no sense to use for anything the equity that I have in streets beyond that point, so I think this is a bug...

thanks for your time

As stated in http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/24059-ev-not-all-situations.html
the whole point is it's unfair to give you preflop allin equity (when you're called by two other players who continue betting on the next street) when those two players go to showdown.

But then don't make this calculation when an opponent gets the other opponent to fold.
Or we could give you preflop allin EV just against the one remaining opponent.
This creates a bias, since the opponent that folded could easily have the best hand preflop.
