HUD popped up just fine last night after first installing HEM, now it doesn't work at all. Table manager doesn't come up...i've tried the "relaunch hud" option multiple times...open and closed HEM multiple times.

Nothing is working.

I should be able to just open HEM without having to do anything with postgres every time, right?

Any tips are appreciated

Please update to 1.09 Beta 11a which is linked in my signature. If you still have problems we will need more details like operating system, and poker site, etc.

So I did that, and now I can't even open HEM lol.

It keeps saying HEM has encountered a problem and needs to close (I checked, it's not already open), and asks if I want to send an error report to microsoft.

Ideas?

thanks!

Is it importing hands currently? If you have Vista can you please verify that UAC is still turned Off - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

And make sure you have set exceptions or uninstalled your firewall completely - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Beyond that it may be necessary to try reinstalling HM, .NET, or SQL.

If you need help with any of the following let me know, and we can schedule a remote support session to help you with it.

Can you follow these instructions:

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder
2) Uninstall HM via the Control Panel
3) Go to Program Files and delete the RVG Software directory, or the equivalent for Vista
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
7) Download the latest patch HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe
8) Test if it for a while and see if it work
9) Close down Holdem Manager and copy the config folder from step 1 and copy and overwrite it to your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder
10) Test if it works again for a while

Please follow the instructions for uninstalling and reinstalling .net framework here: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=14
