I just bought a new computer and wanna install HEM on it. I am already running it on a different computer, and my database is set up with postgreSQL.

My question is: When installing postgreSQL should I use the same username/PW?

Yes, that is fine. You can also try doing a backup/restore installation process, which will be faster than exporting all your hands and reimporting them. It is still always a good idea to export and backup the DB to text files in case the restore process doesn't work.
