Hi,

I recently uninstalled HEM because the hud would no longer load w/pokerstars, and I planned on reinstalling it. However, downloading the holdemmanager.zip when I try and extract holdemmanager.exe i get the error message

"! C:\Users\Alex\Documents\Downloads\holdemmanager.zi p: CRC failed in HoldemManagerSetupProject.msi. The file is corrupt"

Can anyone help me here asap?

Thanks,
Alex

holdemmanager.zip? Should be a .exe file. Please try the latest Beta: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

Try and download the full setup zip again, and save it to a new folder when downloading. Then install www.7Zip.org

Right-Click on the .ZIP > Choose 7Zip > Extract to "Holdemmanager\"

If it extracts properly you want to now run the .MSI installer.

After you get that installed, you want to download the latest beta update, which will be an EXE file that dowsn't require extraction. - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

I had the same problem and did the same thing as Alex and I'm having the same problem. I did what fozzy said and it's not working.

7-Zip: Diagnostic Messages
CRC failed in 'HoldemManagerSetupProject.msi'. File is broken.

It still extracted so I tried installing and it said "The cabinet file '_8EDB3B7AE935D4B29F446F082D347Be8' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."

Your download went wrong.

Clear your Browser cache and download again or try a different browser.

Sounds like the download or extraction didn't work properly. Good idea to delete the first zip and extraction completely.

Clear your web cache - http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache

Download the setup package again - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip

Right-Click > Save Target as.. > download it to a different folder than your previous download.

Now try to unzip the new download to a new folder so you can run the installer. If you still are having problems after that, please email fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer (http://www.teamviewer.com) session. Download and install the Teamviewer software using all the default settings.
