Hello,

I hope this is the right thread for this report...

Today I was looking in my EventManager Logs (Windows XP) and noticed the following 3 error messages that seemed to be triggered by HEM. The "source" is shown as SideBySide:

1.
Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.DebugCRT could not be found and Last Error was The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.

2.
Resolve Partial Assembly failed for Microsoft.VC90.DebugCRT. Reference error message: The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.

3.
Generate Activation Context failed for C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\textBoxHook.dll. Reference error message: The operation completed successfully.

I am currently running version 1.09 beta 6a

Please update to the latest beta version, 1.09 Beta 9, and see if the problem persists, and report back. If it is still occurring I will forward this on to the develoepr for a response.

Hi fozzy,

I updated to 1.09 beta 9 and am still seeing the same 3 SideBySide error messages in the Event Manager each time I use HEM. The errors seems to show up right after I start the program and initiate the Auto-Import (the first time after starting the program).

We have now reached Beta 13 http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

and please check your Microsoft .net framework: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=14

updated to latest beta 13 and errors still appear in event manager

am running microsoft .net framework 2.0 sp 1 with no problems for a long time, with the exception of this error from HEM, so reluctant to change anything on the microsoft side, especially for a beta release.

You need to have .net framework 3.5 for HM. You will want to uninstall 2.0 and reinstall 3.5 following these directions. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/?f=14

I had a remote support job earlier with the same cause for his problems. I thought it was his SQL installation causing the errors, but .net 3.5 upgrade/re-installation had him up and running in less than an hour.
