Why cant HEM distinguish between Double or Nothing tourneys and regular tourneys?

It is written in the hand history so it would'nt be very difficult to show in HEM.

You can try 1.09 Beta 9, and see if that helps. I will forward this to the developer as a bug report.

langejan

LOL!

Not to be rude but do you KNOW if it is supported or not?

fozzy71
06-30-2009, 09:33 AM
No, actually I don't. I have only been working on the forums for 10 days, and I play FTP/Stars Cash games only. It will take some time before I am up to date on all the tourney features and euro-site particulars, which is why I am forwarding it to the developer for a response.

After seeing this thread yesterday, I played a few regular tourneys and a DoN on stars. They don't seem to distinguish them in my results either, other than the fact that the DoN is 5.40, instead of 5.50.

Is the rake the same for regular and DoN on iPoker?

langejan
06-30-2009, 01:43 PM
Yes the rake is the same.

I appreciate you helping me but could you please ask some of the developers of HM that actually knows if its possible to make this work in HM?

And is there any reason that its not yet integrated in HM?

The SNG part of the program is IMO quite useless for Ipoker-players if you cant see what SNG's youre playing.

I sent him an email about this thread earlier. He is busy today trying to get out the Beta 10 version, but he should reply once he gets a chance.

1.08.04 its working fine here langejan... do you multitable a lot? do you have experienced any lag while playing?

tks

langejan
06-30-2009, 03:19 PM
I dont multitable that much. Max 4 tables. No lag the last couple of days.

Could you please post a screenshot of your "Tourney->Data View" tab so I can see how the tournaments is shown?

Please email me some ipoker DON tourneys to support@holdemmanager.net that are not working for you - it might be something to do with your particular ipoker skin because I did implement them for ipoker

I have just downloaded beta 13 and its still not listed as a DoN tournament. Just as a 1 Table Turbo NL Holdem tournament.

Is it a new Tournament or did you delete and reimport the hands?
Please try importing in a new database.

langejan

These are brand new DoN tournaments using beta 13

langejan
07-08-2009, 04:53 PM
Tried it in a new database as well. Still the same.

Whats wrong?!? Could someone show a screenshot of their HEM with DoN's showing?

netsrak
07-08-2009, 04:55 PM
And why do you think its already fixed? It is not in the list of bugfixes - sorry but i think there very more important things to solve (Stars and FTP are very busy this days)

langejan
07-08-2009, 06:52 PM
LOL! Fixed?

Why do you tell me to update HEM, reimport hands, make a new database if it isnt already suppoorted in HEM yet?!

Have you read this thread at all, netsrak?

Rvg72 wrote here that he did implement it. Im just asking why it doesnt work for me.

netsrak

Sorry, i can't read every thread word by word. So i start with the standard procedure which helps in 90% of the problems.

I will ask Roy about this thread. But i think he didn't have the time to fix it.

Rvg72

They are stored as DON's in the database (in the tourneytype field) and that is also why the payouts are correct. I think what you are asking is why can't you filter / sort by the type of tourney, DON for example.

This is something we will be adding in a future update

There is no need for bumping. It will be implemented in one of the next Betas but possibly there are other more important things.

I suggest you watch the Beta thread: http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=11641

Am i correct in thinking this issue has never been fixed? Im thinking after 2 years another bump is acceptable:D

HM1 doesn't have separate filters for DoN, Shootout, Fifty50, etc.

In the past for example PokerStars used:
$11 = $10+1 = regular speed
$12 = $11+1 = turbo
$16 = $15+1 = super turbo

Therefore HoldemManager is used to only look at the buyin info.
Now PokerStars have changed their system to:
$15 = $13.89+1.11 = Turbo
$15 = $13.70+1.30 = Regular
$15 = $14.69+0.31 =
$15 = $14.31 +$0.69 = Fifty50
etc.

This totally confuses the speed detection in HoldemManager.
This is fixed in HM2 which can filter for ALL different types of games.

quinny

So HM2 will still use the buyin to filter games? does this mean it will still not be able to filter ipoker where the buyin and rake structure is the same across multiple games? ie 6man sng $10+1 and don $10+1.

Patvs

Ideally, the rake is different, so HoldemManager can base on the rake amount what type of game it is.
Otherwise, it will look for the name of the handhistory file, or look at the handhistories, if there is a mention of a clear tag like "Double or Nothing".

Does ipoker write "Double or Nothing" to each hand?

Tagging these games will be no problem in HM2.
In fact, he can add you own tags in HM2, by which you want different games to be categorized.
