View Full Version : HUD stopped working

Hello, I just bought the small stakes version of the software, and everything was going great with the trial version. But since the real version is installed, I start the auto-import, and all the hands are imported as the should be. The Table finder works perfectly and keep track of my winnings and everything. The only problem is that the HUD doesn't show anything except the little star that we click on to put notes. I got the latest version of the software. Like I said, they're was absolutly no problem with the trial, but this minor problem appeared. Here's a picture of my table and the table finder working well. Thanks for your help.

OK, the screen shot looked like an old version of the Table Manager.

If you have Vista, the first thing to do is to turn off UAC and reboot, if you haven't yet turned it off. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using

2) a. What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?
Ultimate bet only
b. Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button?
Yep

3) Often times, it is one setting or one box that has not been selected that causes the problem. Please see our detailed FAQs on configuring Holdem Manager to work with select poker sites to make sure that your HUD is set up properly for your selected poker site.

4) Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the correct folder.

Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager?
Yes, my whole session is

6) Have you tried the Table Finder and did it work?
It tells me every table I'm on and my profit/loss, # hands, etc..

7) If you open the hand history files, are they written in English? Note that they should be.

You forgot to answer one.


8) Make sure UAC is disabled (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73) and unselect it and restart if it is.

Your situation is pretty odd. If you have XP or you are positive UAC is off, then it will probably be best to have fabio do a remote support session.

Thank you for your help. I use Windows XP and cant seem to find that UAC thing. Anyway, I rebooted my PC and it still doesn't work and I dont know why. I'll email Fabio to try to fix that HUD. Thank you again.

Try deleteing your prefs.xml file from the config folder. Then when you start HEM it should rewrite the default prefs.
