hi

when i click on vacuum analyze database there appears the following message:

performing a vacuum analyze on your database will free up disk space and improve...... etc

when I click yes, it says "there was an error during the vacuum. please manually vacuum your database through pgadmin"

then I can open a word document with the instructions

my problem is, I dont this file pgadmin on my computer??? At least it isnt in the folder that it should be in, so I cant vacuum analyse ma database....

btw I've postgreSQL 8.3 installed, and as it seems, the instructions in the word document are for v8.2???

can somebody please help me?

thank you

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL 8.3 > PGAdmin III, should get you there.

If it's not in your start menu, try going to Start > My Computer > C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\bin, and see if there is a file named pgAdmin3.exe, or just do a search for pgadmin3.

Try this path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\PostgreSQL\bin

If you have 64 bit vista, your programs get installed to the (86) version of the program files directory.

Please email fabio@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so you can schedule a Teamviewer (http://www.teamviewer.com) session. Download and install the Teamviewer software using all the default settings. He can sort it out for you much quicker if he can see it, rather than us keep going back and forth.

Cool, I didn't know you could just download the single EXE. Why would he not have one already??
