HUD not working on Carbon (w/Merge converter)

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using eg 1.06.04 Beta 12? 1.09 Beta 8

2) What Poker Site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than 1 site? On Carbon w/Merge Converter - converting to Party hands

2a) Have you clicked the Start Auto Import Button? yes

3) Have you the settings exactly as per the FAQ for your site? as far as I know

4) Can you see the Hand History files showing up in the correct Folder on your PC, this folder should be indentical to the path location you set in Options > Configure Auto Import Folder in HM? If so please copy and paste the location as shown in the FAQ? yes

5) Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager? yes

5a) Do they import if you create a new database?

6) Have You Tried the Table Finder and did it work? Yes I tried it, no it did not work

7) If you open the HH are they written in English? yes

8) If your using Vista have you UAC disabled? no - ok, now I did go back and try it with UAC disabled and it did work when I used the table finder. Does this mean I have to run my computer with UAC disabled all the time now? Is there a way to fix it to work with UAC enabled?

9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file? yes

UAC must be completely disabled for HEM to work smoothly with the SQL database.

Ok, is that safe? I was told not to run the computer with UAC turned off because it wasn't safe. I've used HEM on stars, tilt, absolute, UB, and poker4ever (with a converter) and never had any problem even with UAC on. Is it something specific to this Merge converter? I'm just nervous about running my computer with UAC off. Thanks.

It's no less safe than I am on my XP machine. It is more of an annoyance than anything AFAIK. Here is a decent article about it. http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2009/05/how-to-switch-off-user-account-control-in-vista/

I have the exact same problem that "all about" had , my answers for the questions are the same, exept that I dont know what the Table Finder is. I did not find the Faq "all about" mentionned in the thread.
