Writting a Pot Odds / Point System Calc

I might be willing to write a pot odds calculator and/or a point system calculator as a crutch to use with the replayer to better analyze your game. Is there any public documentation on extending HEM features? I know my stuff , and being a seasoned C++ programmer shouldn't be that though, before investing time and committing to the project would love to know what docs are available (if any to third parties).

I am also a developer, and was wondering if there is any public api exposed from HEM. Or if the DB schema is published?

If not, some sort of api might add a lot of value to the software as I'm sure there would be numerous 3rd party developers who would develop 'helper apps' or whatever, which can only increase the appeal of HEM to new users?
