My licence stopped working

I upgraded to the latest beta (Version 1.8.0.0) and as expected, it asked me to re-enter my licence. It accepted the licence as valid, but when I tried to activate it on the server it failed with the error:

"Could not activate license at server. The license has been modified."

I have a copy of the error logs. Any ideas?

It works now, feel free to delete or close this thread.

I simply rebooted my system and tried again and this time, it worked without any difficulty.

You were upgrading from 1.07 to 1.08??? or the 1.08.04 Patch?? The actual current Beta version is 1.09 Beta 8. You can always find the latest beta build in our Releases Forum. (http://208.109.95.123/forum/showthread.php?t=11641)

The 1.08 on the main site's download page is a full install package, not an update for your current package. You want to download the 1.08.04 patch, or more realistically you probably want the 1.09.beta 8 update. (http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe)

Try updating to the latest beta build, and if it asks for the serial you will want to email sales@holdemmanager.net, from your email you purchased HEM with, and give him all the details so he can reset your key.
