When I play 18-man or 45-man SNGs, HEM usually gets the # of players wrong. It will sometimes say 18, or sometimes it will say 10 or 23 or whatever. Any way to fix this?

I have version 1.08.04 and play on Stars.

Please update to the latest version 1.09 beta 8 - http://208.109.95.123/forum/showthread.php?t=11641

Stars recent updates require HEM 1.09 beta 7+

Okay, updated. Just played a set and it still doesn't fix the problem.

Please check this FAQ. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

The Stars update problems were fixed with Beta 8 so its no common issue.

I'm not following you. That FAQ is about the HUD. Besides, my problem has always existed AFAIK and has nothing to do with the Stars update.

I am not the SnG expert but don't you have to request and import summaries for every tournament to update this stats?

Right now, when I play an SNG, all I do is auto-import the hands and HEM does the rest for me. Are you saying that I need to manually request a tournament summary from Stars and somehow import that to HEM?

Yes, the tourney summary must be requested and copied into a text file to be imported. I am not sure if that is really your issue tho.

I will forward this to the developer to see if I can get some sort of answer/solution for you.

Yes, this is the issue - you need the summary. Hm will get it right if you make the final table since it looks at all the stack sizes to try and identify the tourney but unfortunately there is nothing else in the hand history identifying this as an 18 or 45 man tourney

Yes, but even importing the summaries is not working for some of us. See this thread, which still has not led to an answer:

I think there is a legitimate problem here (not trying to scold you or sound angry, it's just something I really think needs to be fixed).
