View Full Version : DBControlPanel has stopped working??

I get an error message when hitting the desktop link "shortcut to holdem manager.exe". I installed both programs, as directed, and want to use the 15 day trial. Is there a phone support, because I am not a computer genius and I need help!

What OS are you using? If vista, is UAC turned off? Do you have a firewall running? Try setting an exception for HEM, HMHUD, HMIMPORT, etc - or simply uninstall the firewall completely and reboot.

Install the latest beta version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

Thanks for the reply. As I said, I am NOT a PC person. You are speaking a language I don't understand!I am using Vista, but I have no idea what a UAC. How do I set an exception, etc? Can I use yahoo messenger to set a chat?

UAC should be (or have been) turned off during installation, but just try turning it off and rebooting.
