HM Archive question.

Hi. I have a fairly full archive folder. Do the hands stay there indefinitely? Is there a recommended time one should keep those hands? I just wanted to know if those hands were necessary? I use PostgeSQL. Doesn't that keep my hand histories which HM draws it's stats from? I am a bit confused.

Your help with these questions would be much appreciated.

You should be backing up those HHs to some other media (cd/dvd/flash-drive, hard drive) so if you ever have to make a new DB, reinstall postgreSQL, or get a new computer you can re-import them to rebuild your DB. You can also export your hands from the - Options > Database Management > Export Hands. I keep copies of both, personally.
