Hi guys,

i needed to import everything from pt3 exp. notes and i googled it and found somewhere a post about an "hidden" TRUE/FALSE value to show "Import from pt3 db" in HM.
The problem is that every player was imported as an "Alias" with zero hands, the sessions were maybe imported but i can't seem to find them and every single note was imported (i can see them in ExportedNotes.HMNotes) but don't show up anywhere in HM

What did i do wrong?

HM didn't show any error message after completing the import

What exactly you are trying to import? PT3 database? Or something else?

Import from PT3 DB should work well.
Do you have the latest HM version?

Thanks guys for the support

I'm gonna try again with the new 1.12.03
If it fails i'll zip up the db

Thanks again

I tried creating a new hm database to import stuff from pt3 with the new 1.12.03 but it didn't work it only imported around 5% of the actual players even if the total hand number it showed during the process was right.

I have an ascii pt3 db being imported into a utf8 HM db could that be the issue?
I'm running postgre 9.0

I'm also having problems emailing the backed up db because of its size

Can you run a "import from folder" on the Processed hands folder where PT3 moves the original handhistories and import those instead into a new database?

Yes i can and it works perfectly if i do but the problem is that notes are really valuable to me and i need a way to import them into HM i really don't want to lose almost 10k notes

There is no way to export PT3 notes and import them into HM. So the only solution would be the import of the PT3 database. We really need to look into your database to find out what is the problem.
You can zip and upload the database backup to a file hoster and send us the link.

Haven't heard anything from you guys for a few days
Did you receive the DB? (It was a postgreSQL backup)
