View Full Version : HEM not importing hands anymore.

Hello! A few days ago I was playing my regular games in Pokerstars, HEM worked perfectly, imported every hand I played etc. Today I started playing again, but HEM don't import anything anymore, it imported like 9 hands of a whole sessions. I haven't changed any settings etc.

The picture link is not working.
Please reboot your computer and try again.
If its still not working please create a new database for a test and try again.

Which HM version are you using?

I have one more question - I think I know where the problem is. If I re-install HEM, does it keep all my hands, aliases etc or it will erase them all and I have to start from zero? Thanks!

set the date formatting of your computer to M/d/yyyy (and not to European default d/M/yyyy) with regional settings English (United States)


New database: you'll have to re-setup your alias and reimport the handhistories again.

But when I reinstall the HEM program, not the database, does it still keep all my HH's, aliases etc?

Tried to import again, now it imported like 8 hands more lol, but I played like 300-400 hands the previous session.

E: Tried the new database thing and date settings, but still nothing, same errors. I think it might help if I reinstall HEM.

Reinstalling HM does not affect your database. Reinstalling HM will not fix this problem.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_1.12.02a.exe

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/372/Reinstalling+on+a+new+PC+-+Backup+Tips


If that doesn't fix the issues, please reproduce the problem and attach a screen shot to an email - Capture a Screen Shot of your Desktop or the Active Window in Windows (http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm)

Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com
