I'm also trying to restore my database.

The FAQ says " In pgAdmin, click on Edit > New Object > New Database."

When I click on Edit "New Object" is not available ???

In pgAdmin, rightclick on "Databases" and choose New database. Then, restore the backup into that new database. Once the restore is done, you will get an error, just click cancel and start up HM, the database should appear and work fine

When I tried it, I didn't get an error and the DB was not restored.

I'm sure I installed the same PostgreSQL as the one I used on the old computer
