I have a fault with my HD on my desktop and need to back up my database before I get a replacement.
I know the routine, as when i bought my desktop 5 months ago i had to move it from my laptop to the new system.
I ran holdem manager back up, and the 1st time it came up with an error message. I tried to reindex it, and am trying again now. It has been going for 2 hours and doesnt appear to be doing much:
"Starting backup"
"Archiving database:HEM 2... please be patient"
I'm not sure whether this is standard or it's because my HD is slow/faulty. The database size is around 11Gb.
Do i have any other options? I still have the original database on my laptop (with the majority of hands from before i bought my desktop)
However Ideally i would like to back up the whole database.
