View Full Version : How do HEM calculate rake?

I was wondering about people's experiences with rakeback on the Ongame-network.

Do you experience that the rakeback-deal that you were offered matches the rake beeing logged by Holdem Manager/PokerTracker?

Say you have a 40% flat rakeback-deal, and Holdem Manager says you've raked 2k$ one month, will the amount given to you be close to 40% of the 2k $?

The reason why I am asking is because I experience that the amount received is much lower than what is beeing calculated by HEM, and I am wondering if this is because I am getting cheated, or because HEM calculates the rake in some other way that I don't know about.

i think ongame may use the contributed rakeback method instead of dealt, if they do the numbers will be significantly off since hem doesnt support contributed rakeback :(

my contributed rakeback of 30% is usually about 18% of the rake total reported by hem... bonuses that i release will count against my rakeback too... hope this helps
