My HEM2 Bugs list

Hi, i've played with HEM2 for a while now on partypoker

1. 4B vs Hero stats does not work correctly, it always come out like this when i click tables

there are other 3bet+ stats and vs hero stats that behave the same way, forgot which but im definition sure 4B vs Hero does not work correctly.

2. If the "click for popup" checkbox in config properties is checked, then there is no way to get notecaddy notes to shown.

3. HUD started popping up with different monitors. Example: if 1 of my tables is on the edge of my screen and monitor 2 is next to it. HUD will pop up in the other monitor, very annoying.
I would suggest that HUD pop up locations can be saved, which would solve a lot of problems

4. Seating preferences for party poker, it's not working correctly. Your correct seat # is the HEM2 seat preference # minus 1.

5. If player disconnects in a hand on Partypoker, and reconnects, that hand will NOT be recorded in the database.

6. the std dev in bb... seems to be be off by 1 decimal place

1) You've got shading in that cell set to black, change the shading to a different color/off in popup designer.

3) This was fixed before, I just wrote it back up. Thank you

4) I'n having the party issue checked out.

5) Are the hands written to the HH file when disconnected? I know they aren't for other sites. You have to request them from the site.

6) STD Dev uses the formula STDEVPA from excel. I've done comparisons and the #s match up. This is a different formula than 1.0 used, but is a more accurate view of standard deviation.

thanks for the reply, problem #1 is solved... haha that was very weird because i swore i never touch the shading thing

as for the std dev formula... i think it's a tradition since PT1 to have a standard deviation in bb between .4 and 1.2, so it's just very weird to see std dev bb between 4 and 12 now.

(basically it was normal to have std ev bb/100 between 40bb/100 and 120bb/100, until HEM2)

Here, they discuss a normal limit and no limit SD range/100 - they say it is typically 85bb/100 - which would make it 8.5bb/hand.

I took a sample of 68 hands in my database, entered the $ won in Excel, then divided each entry by the size of the bb, so I had a column of bb won/hand. Then, I ran the STDEVPA formula for that column in Excel.

My value was 5.6, the same as in HM2, which would be 56bb/100 - this was for a cap sample, so I would expect it to be smaller, than a no limit sample.

s is the sample standard deviation which is an estimate of the unknown population standard deviation.

hey

that information got "classified" again today. i did not touch anything and it got made into black shading. I have to change the cell shading again manually. there must be something in HEM2 that keep making it black shading.

I've never experienced this.

Please send us the popup after you change it from black. It's in the config folder in program files\holdemmanager2

hey, i have no idea which file it is... i just modified default_VPIP in the pop up designer and made it as my default pop up.

the default_VPIP.pop in the config folder seems completely different from my completely remodified version of default_vpip pop up

It sounds like something is corrupted, it should be there.

Try deleting the popup file in config folder in the program files\holdemmanager

and in

Hey I reinstalled, bug still occurs

also I installed HEM2 fresh from the link above, it gave me a error message saying cannot find NLH_6max.statstrigger. i just pressed OK and nothing else happened.

as for the black shading bug

basically I read the default_VPIP.config, sometimes the shading just randomly turns into #00000000 for no reason. i dont think it's corrupt or anything, it's just a textfile after all.

I would delete the popup in the roaming folder, uninstall, then install that link.

As long as you don't delete the database and config folder, you're ok - you'll have your DB and HUD's.

Seems like HEM has a several bugs.

Yes, updates should be available more now since there aren't huge changes to be programmed and tested.
