Hi,

Just started playing on stars, playing on fast tables, when taking notes in holdem manager stars steals the focus. Am I missing an obvious setting? Table Ninja turned off. Updated to 1.12.01

Thanks

In Poker Stars lobby;

Options ---> Advanced Multi-Table Options ---> Don't steal focus from chat and notes.

sorry thought this fix would solve my problem but it does not, "don't steal focus from the the chat and notes" as well "pop-op when user action is required" are both selected but this does not seem to solve the focus issue. Any other ideas?

This should work - please try to start the Stars client as administrator.

Are you using any other pokerrelated programs?

Update to: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_1.12.03.exe

Are your playing tiled, stacked, or cascaded? how many tables?
Try to lock the layout: HUD options--> table preferences--> lock the layout

play hu between 1 and 4 tables, tiled if playing a few but the issue occurs when only playing 1.
updated and tried locking but this does not help

Was just wondering if this was ever resolved as I am having the same issues, i stack tables and when I type in HEM's note box, the next table to act will steal focus and my typing will not be entered. This makes note taking very difficult whilst playing more than a few tables, just wondering if this guy found a fix?

Thanks

This is a known issue and it has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. While I don't have a specific date for when this issue will be resolved, we are putting out updates regularly.

The previously assigned internal ticket # on this issue is 3231. We will often release builds on a limited basis on only the forums for a few days first so please check back on this thread http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-releases/ for that ticket #.

Bug 3231 only affects HM2.

For HM1: Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directo ry. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates./
