Hi, I want to make a full (clean) reinstall of HM (including discarding all databases). (I want to do this because i think i messed to much up ) So i want to delete all HM-related files before reinstalling. What should i do?

I've found these suggested actions in an other forumpost answer:

----------------------------------------------------------------

Can you follow these instructions:

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder
This i don't need to do because i want to remove HM and all is relevant files. I understand i'm loosing mine old databases by doing this.

2) Uninstall HM via the Control Panel
Because English is not mine native langauge: what do you mean by "control panel". HM is not included in the start/.. /configscreen/programma's list for removal, it;s also not listed in the start/programma's list and in the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager there is no unistall file.

3) Go to Program Files and delete the RVG Software directory, or the equivalent for Vista
ok i understand

4) Reboot your computer
ok i understand

5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
ok i understand

7) Download the latest patch HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe
ok i understand

8) Test if it for a while and see if it work
ok i understand

Two further questions:
1) Should also delete the directory c:\HMarchive and
2) Should i also unistall PostRegSQL
Before rebooting the PC (step 4)

Tx for answering

Gr Ron
