It is isn't a stat. It means how differently someone plays UTG compared to say on the BTN. IF someone's VPIP over a large number of hands is the same, you would say they have no "positional awareness"

i know what it means to be positionally aware. but i found a stat in the reports stat selecton that says 'preflop positional awareness'

mine is 3.89

a 57/31's i have in my database has a positional awareness of 2.73.

how is this calculated?

It wasn't Mikes department.

You find the formula here: http://208.109.95.123/forum/showthread.php?t=3595

Hi, it is the ration between your unopened PFR from the button and your unopened PFR from early position.

So if you raised an unopened pot 4 of 10 times on the button and 4 of 20 times from early position then it would be:

4/10
-----
4/20

0.4
-----
0.2

Preflop positional awareness = 2.0
