I want to see all hands where pre flop someone either 4bet or 5bet all in regardless of wether I am in the hand or
not - this does not seem to be possible.

Similarly I want to see any hand where there was a 3bet and a call followed by a check raise on the flop regardless of wether I am in the hand or not.

Can someone please give me some advice on how to use filters to do these things.

I would suggest you try the trial version of Holdem Vision. It is suited to analyzing a the population of players as a whole rather than individual players. I would suggest you try the "line explorer" in Vision.
