Hi, i haven't updated HEM in a while. I tried to install 1.11.07b today and it kept failing to install.
OS is XP-pro. HEM is still working fine, but I should get it updated so I can have a HUD on stars fast tables..

.07b will not fix the stars HUD problems. What is the specific error you receive? Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

See this thread regarding the fast tables update - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hud-bugs/118111-hud-not-working-pokerstars-fast-tables.html

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

Please clear your web cache - Clear Your Browser's Cache - wikiHow (http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache)

Download the update again, via right-click > save target as... > and save to a new folder.

If none of that helps, I would suggest a clean reinstall:

1) Export any custom HUD configs individually, make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files. If you have custom filters/reports/stats, just copy the entire \holdem manager folder before uninstalling.
2) Uninstall HM with Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily (http://www.revouninstaller.com) using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works
