So I got this error and tried following faq id #171 but I got lost. I uninstalled postgresql and then was at the step where

Go to http://www.postgresql.org/ftp/binary/ and choose the applicable version number

The file I deleted was 8.3 but it seems like there's different versions of 8.3 and then the faq says

Then Choose Win32 on the next page then click on the postgreql-8.x.0-1.zip

I don't see that .zip anywhere. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks for your help.

Reading other peoples problems with the same error it seems maybe deleting postgresql was a bad idea as I might lose the database. Should I do a system restore to yesterday to undo it? Will that work?

If you deleted the PostgreSQL folder then im afraid your database is gone, in that case youll need to do a fresh install http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=176 although if you archived your hands then you might get those back by importing the archive folder

Is there a way to tell if I currently have my database? I think when I started the trial version of HH I downloaded PostgresQL even though I already had it on my computer from when I had a trial version of pokertracker.

I have a PostgresQL folder>8.3>Data but none of the folders seem really big but I have no clue how PostgresQL works.
