View Full Version : NO C:\HMarchive for ftp configure

just bought, trying to install for ftp, am following the ftp configuration faq, and got to here:

Make sure "Import From Sub Folders" is ticked and weve introduced auto archiving which is defaulted to move your hand histories to C:\HMarchive folder if the files havent been accessed/modified for 15 minutes.

I dont have that HMarchive folder in there when i click options>Configure Auto Import Folder that shows up in there in the screenshot. help plz, im pretty donkish w/ computers teehee

It should be in your documents
drive c:/ my documents/HMarchive

SO you do have a section in your computer that holds your documents!

....thats a joke right?

i have to go to bed now but yeah i have an hp laptop w/ crap vista and have a program files and a program files x 86 and a windows folder plus 3 other folders i dont know what they are in C: , no 'my documents' tho

hope i can get this sorted tomorrow, thanks for your help thus far

its under your computer name after you hit the start button in the lower left corner
so if you named your comp PAZ5050 you need to click that

C:/Hmarchive is the default it uses if you dont specify a folder, you dont have to use it and you can use any folder you want and point to it, you can also just create that foder by going to C and right click and choose New Folder and rename it
