Trying to open HEM after acouple of months using 2nd pc. get the old 127.0.0.1 error (not again!!!)

Going through the http://208.109.95.123/forum/showthread.php?t=8261
thread and have aproblem with the steps in http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=171

as under step 3 cannot find the following files under
C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.3\bin

pg_ctl.exe
postgres.exe

blooming strange. Does this mean I need to reload? If so how do I achieve this without screwing up myHEM dbase (last time ended up losing half my db hands)

They should be there if there not its proabably either UAC or security software blocking them being shown so try repeating that after youve UAC disabled and also uninstall your security software

If not try browsing to that location via My computer and see if they show up then

UAC already disabled.

Otherwise tried without AVG and of course set the folder view to include hidden files and still nothing :(

Maybe an antivirus or something removed them mistaking them for a virus or something, that happened me with PG admin a while back and i just download PostgreSQL to a different location and copied the pgadmin.exe file to the folder, you could try that but since your getting that error id recommend doing a reinstall http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=177

As it says on that step if you get the error its the username where the problem is not the password, please use a different username that wasnt used before

Thought I had made it clear that I had done. Tried all the suggestions and another 3 or 4 that I made up on the spot - none work
