I just downloaded HoldemManager and can't seem to get the import hands to work.

here's a screenshot of HoldemManager Running, Auto import configuration window and Table Manager showing FT the tables I have open, but no actual hands are being imported:

(and the HoldEm Manager web site in the background)

I thought I had everything set correctly, but when I start auto Import HoldEm Manager doesn't seem to be importing any hands.

Any help is appreciated.

You need to restart HoldemManager after editing the auto import folders.

Also, update to our latest version: http://www.rvgsoftware.com/hm/hmupdate1.06.01u.exe

Ok, updated to the newest 1.06.01u version.

Now for some reason I can't connect to HM. When I open HM I get an error message letting me know an error occured when trying to open the DB:

After I click "ok" on that, I get a DB control Panel pop up message. (I disabled UAC before downloading HM the first time and re-enabled it after it was installed. I then made sure to run the files listed here as admin so I'm not sure why I'm still getting this pop up)

Once I click "ok" on that I get the "Connect to PostgreSQL" window to open and when i click "connect" on that I get this last error message letting me kow There was a connection error.

After I click 'ok" on this HM shuts down completely and I'm back to square one.

Any idea what is going on?

Thanks.

used the fix in the other thread to simply close postgreSQL and re-start it. That solved the connections issue and I'm no able to connect fine.

Still having import issues. I sat at a PS 6max table and played one orbit to test it out. The HUD stats started to display, but HM never was able to import the hands it seemed. I went into the folder where HM is suppose to move the processed HH's and that folder is still completely empty.

FT seems to work fine. When i check the folder where the HH are suppose to be moved and that folder shows the processed HH's. The PS folder which is in almost the same location does not.

I let HM set up the archived HH folder by default to c:\HMArchive. I just added two folders within that folder (PS hand histories & FT Hand Histories). I then directed HM to move the FT processed HH's to the FT folder and the PS processed HH's to the PS folder.

Again, FT seems to work fine, but PS isn't importing and moving the HH's to the archive/processed folder.

The hands I played are still in my PS Hand History folder in c:\program file\pokerstars\hand history.

Can you try doing a manual import and just try and import 1 file and see does it pick it up. If it does please see this FAQ which gives detailed instructions how to setup for PS http://208.109.95.123/faq/?f=147 as its probably something wrong there.

If your still having problems and/or the manual import dosent work then please send me some of the HH and also your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder with a link to this thread and i look into it further
