u might try dloading from explorer if your using FF, worked for me
This problem is because you have FF set to Dload to a certain spot, which you can change to ask for a promt for a location
In FF>GO to>tools> options> main tab>downloads and set it correctly

redstar
05-30-2009, 03:58 PM

05-30-2009, 04:03 PM
yes i have already install HEM and i have a serial #

stretch00
05-30-2009, 04:08 PM
OK so you didn't follow the instructions that told you to insttall posgreSQL FIRST.
So now go to control panel > un-install HM

stretch00
05-30-2009, 04:16 PM
Tell me when you have UN-installed

stretch00
05-30-2009, 04:21 PM

This installation package could not be opened. Verify that this package existed
and that you could access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package.

stretch00
05-30-2009, 04:27 PM
Red star i told you i need you to do only what i say no more no less
if you cant do that i cant help you
because evry time you do something i then have to try and figure out where we are again
and that does not work it's a giant waste of time if your not going to follow instructions

redstar
05-30-2009, 04:28 PM
ok, sooo sorry

stretch00
05-30-2009, 04:29 PM

SO CON YOU DO THESE THINGS OR NOT?

redstar
05-30-2009, 04:30 PM

stretch00
05-30-2009, 04:36 PM

I'm doing this out of the goodness of my heart.
But if you cant help make the process easier for me I'll just point you to the FAQs and you can have a go @ it yourself.

If you want to continue
Delete the posgreSQL file that you Dloaded and get a new 1> SAVE IT TO YOUR DESKTOP.

stretch00
05-30-2009, 04:45 PM

stretch00
05-30-2009, 04:54 PM
OK it's on dsktop right?
If so RighT click and extract ALL

redstar
05-30-2009, 04:57 PM
after i right click and extract all do u want me to follow the instruction on the windows or wait for your instruction

stretch00
05-30-2009, 05:00 PM
Yes follow but if you arent sure stop and post OK.
I do exactly what your doing on my sys,but I have to stop @ this point and get you past this point and into HM.so9)

6) Leave the Service name, Account Name and Domain as whatever it was by default and select an Account Password here and verify it. We recommend you use postgrespass but make sure to keep note of this password whatever you choose as youll need it later. Once youve done this click next.

NB: Very Important - If it says your password is weak MAKE SURE YOU SAY NO otherwise it will create a random password of gobblygook letters and numbers that youll never remember and you need to enter you password later so make sure to press NO to keep your original password.

redstar
05-30-2009, 05:02 PM
ok i'm done extracting the files now what

stretch00
05-30-2009, 05:03 PM
are you here?

stretch00
05-30-2009, 05:04 PM

http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/?f=176 (http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/../faq/?f=176)

stretch00
05-30-2009, 05:07 PM
