I have had this problem since the 15 of July, I have reinstall too many times the last HM version and create new databases and try a lot of solutions that I have seen in this forum but nothing.

I can open HM easily (with no error mesages): 21591

I click on "Start Auto Import" (and no error mesages)21611

But the HM never start to import new hands.

I think that the autoimport folders are correctly configurate but it does not work.

Please tell me what to do because I am desperate.

Thank you .

Edit: of course the HUD does not appear on the tables.

Did you setup pokerstars to save the hands/summaries and tell HM to import them?

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/6/Poker+Stars+Setup

Please update to the latest release - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Make sure the hand histories and poker client are in English.

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

Try the table finder - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/60/Configuring+Table+Finder+to+Show+HUD+

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

If you don't see a table name listed, please drag the red X to the table and click OK. Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK

My hands are being save but HM does not import them since 15/7/11

21771

21781

I have been like a year and a half using HM and never have to change anything of the other things, of course I have the software in English.

I put the UAC to the minnumun like here http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/30/Turning+Off+UAC+%28Windows+7%29 but nothing.

Any other idea, I need to play.

Thank you again.

All things look to be correctly but the HM does not autoimport I have to do manually from a folder 21791

the problem is that the HUD does not work..., it has to be a small thing because I always used the HM with no problems

Thank you

Make sure you attach your config file as described in the last step because I think you may have created an import/archive loop.

Okay, I have updated HM and all W7 updates, incluying Internet Explorer (I use firefox) and nothing changed.

My English is not perfect and I did not understand your last sentence "Make sure you attach your config file as described in the last step because I think you may have created an import/archive loop. "

Specially I do not undertand what it is "to create an import/archive loop", could you explain me what I have to do to repair that.

Thank you again, I feel I am near :)

Please attach your holdemmanager.config file. It can be found in the Program Files/RVG Software/HoldemManager/Config folder

You don't have to attach the folder.
Only the HoldemManager.conf file INSIDE the folder.

When you want to attach - simply select file named "Holdemmanager" in this folder. It is 9th from the bottom in list you posted.

And now?

fozzy71

And now?

You need to do what I said in my first reply. There is no folder setup for HM to import the hands from the pokerstars client, unless you told stars to save them to this \my documents path.

You only have 2 import folders setup. One of them is correct, but the first one listed I am unsure of.

<setting name="AutoImportFolderList">C:\Users\Javier\Documents\manos portatil 2\javitor91,True,True,C:\HMArchive
C:\Users\Javier\AppData\Roaming\HEM Data\Hands,True,True,C:\HMArchive
</setting>

What files are in that first folder listed above? Is that where you told pokerstars to save the hands?

You need to setup pokerstars to save the hands, and then auto-detect those import folders in HM settings.

Please follow the steps in bold below:

It is possibly a corrupt database. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created).

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/372/Reinstalling+on+a+new+PC+-+Backup+Tips

We have a backup and restore feature within Holdem Manager that makes it easy for you to backup all your settings, hand histories and files.
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/418/Backup+%26+Restore

This is a new feature and there are some compatibility issues with it so if you have any problems you can do this manually by following the instructions below:

Manual database backup/restore via pgadmin - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/72/Backup+%26+Restore+Database

To backup everything manually for reimport.

Export your Hand Histories
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands

Export Your Notes
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/notes-02.jpg

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback – Options > Rakeback & Bonuses http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/rakeback-bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/tourney-data-view-01.jpg

Then can you create a new database http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database

Finally reimport all your hands/notes/summaries into the new database

If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/119/Warning:+You+have+XXX+Hand+History+Files+in+your+A uto+Import+Folders

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

If that doesn't resolve it.
Turn off User Account Control: Turn off User Account Control: How to Disable and Turn Off UAC in Windows 7 « My Digital Life (http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/30/how-to-disable-and-turn-off-uac-in-windows-7/)

Change the handhistory folder where PokerStars saved the hands to C:/Program Files/PokerStars/Handhistory
And add that folder as the auto import folder.
