View Full Version : How to register as you've use the trial version

Hello,

Here's my problem. I've been using the HM free trial fort the 15 days and now that they are over I just bought the complete version. However, when I start HM manager he tells me I have to register online, I try to do it, but he's actually trying to do it with the free trial license key and doesen't seem to see the new one.

Where do I have to go, to change the key and put the new one ?

Also am I going to loose all the data I collected during the 15days or will they be added with the complete version ?

Hi,

Go to help > registration > clear HM and Omaha license, then restart HM and enter the new code.

If you get a message that the license could not be cleared then do the following:
First of all, Enable the option to see Hidden Files and Disable “Hide protected operating system files”: How to see hidden files in Windows (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html) - It should look like this: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/images/hidden.jpg

1. Delete C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2. Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)
3. Update to the latest beta – http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe

If you can't find holdemmanager.exe.ldat - just skip this step
If that doesn’t work please try this:
Create a new text document in C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder by right clicking inside the folder on a blank space, choose New from the popup Menu and then choose text document and name it LicDebug with a capital L and D
Open HM and register
Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file if it fixes the issue or not
