Problem Importing after update

So I'll preface this by saying I'm a huge computer noob and that I've already tried to install HM and postgresql on my computer which is running Vista.

Everything seems to work ok except I would get an error message about something remotely closing an already existing connection for Holdem Manager, but now that I've updated to 1.08.04, I cannot seem to import hands at all.

Any suggestions on how to fix either of these problems? I'd be happy to provide more details if needed. Thanks guys.

I don't run vista but I do know for HM to work you have to be an admin & turn UAC off for the install OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT but it's in the guide.I bet you that's all it is!

Is your posgreSQL installed and running?
Is your firewall/AV blocking either HM or SQL?
