Hello.

I have recently downloaded the "william Hill poker club" room.

I configured the import.
HEM finds the Hand History file, but there is an import error : all hands are in error, none of them feeds the HUD.

Some more information :
- this room is NOT the "william hill" room from the cryptologic network. It is "william Hill POKER CLUB", a skin of the ipoker network
- I have several ipoker rooms working fine with HEM, so the problem seems to be specific to this one.
- I have discussed with an other user who has the same problem.

For information, my WilliamHill client is in french (but I also have other ipoker skins in french that work fine, except for the "table scanner " function.

Thank you by advance.

Ok both those have the wrong date/time format (all the other ipoker sites have the correct one) so it would mess up all the other sites if we try and fix this, they seemed to change to the proper format about a week ago but it looks like theyve changed back again now, youll need to contact them to see if its possible if they use the normal ipoker format anymore as it cant be fixed on our end.

i send this message to their support, i will post there answer

hi, i recently started playind in william hill poker, but i fund out that the software holdem manager does not work in here, but it does work in the rest of the casinos of the ipoker net.

i asked in the holdem manager web and they answer me this:

"the hand history have the wrong date/time format (all the other ipoker sites have the correct one), they seemed to change to the proper format about a week ago but it looks like theyve changed back again now, youll need to contact them to see if its possible if they use the normal ipoker format anymore as it cant be fixed on our end".

As for me and a lot of other players using holdem manager is important, and if we can use it in other ipoker skins and not in william hill it becomes a disadvantage to chose this ipoker skin above others. Is it posible to change back the the hand history format, for it to be like the rest of the net?

thanks for you help

the answer was prety fast, but it doesnt help

this is the mail

Dear Rodolfo,

Thank you for choosing William Hill Poker Club.

This is Anna from the Support Team.

Rodolfo, please be informed that you can access your Hand Histories through
the ?My Account?. This new feature lets players view their recent hands in
both tournaments and cash games. This option is accessible via the ?My
Account? button and by clicking either ?Cash Table History? or ?Tournament
History?.

After clicking ?Cash Table History?, you can specify a date range, select a
table name or choose the number of past sessions you?d like to view. The
result contains a list of table sessions that fit the selection criteria.
After selecting a session, you can view the list of games during that
session.

You can also select ?Tournament History? and view the list of games played in
the selected tournament.

As we have upgraded our system, hand histories are also stored in your PC. It
allows you to access the hand history while offline and also use it in
conjunction with other game analysis tools. The hand history is stored in XML
format in the following folders:

C:\Program Files\(Poker room Name)\History\(Players Username)\Table\(game
session).xml

C:\Program Files\(Poker room Name)\History\(Players
Username)\Tournament\(tournament code).xml

Where the number represents the session or the tournament code; the new
?update local information? button allows players to update their local hand
history files from the server in case the player lost his local files for some
reason.

Our hand history format has never change, whatever problem you experienced
with other software that you are using, we are not in control of it.

You may send us an email again if there will still be any problems so we can
assist you further.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact
the William Hill Poker Club Support Team. We are available 24 hours a day, 7
days a week.

With Best Regards,

Our hand history format has never change, whatever problem you experienced with other software that you are using, we are not in control of it.

Yeah i know someone mentioned they fixed the problem last week, no idea why they changed it then fixed and then changed back, again their the only site on the whole ipoker network with this date setting. I think it might be something that would be better raised with someone other than support, i know lots of ipoker sites that have guys promoting their sites and their bonus schemes and if you can get hold of these guys they usually have access to the people who can make these decisions as the support guys are just doing their job and cant change this so it might be more benificial to get in contact with someone higher up the ladder. Once they revert to the same format all the other sites use with the (uk) format then the hands will work fine.

Hello.
Today I started writing a long email to feedback@williamhillpoker.com regarding this issue.

I prepared a one page email, explaining this issue was a big weakness for them on the competitive online poker business, as most regular players use trackers, and all have issue with this date problem.

But before clicking the "send" button", I decided to have a look at the Poker tracker forum, to see if the also have the problem, or have found a fix.

And it seems they have found a (at least partial) fix.

Do you think you could do the same ?
And do you have comments on this ?

Thank you by advance.

(below is an extract from their support forum)
******
Previous to beta 27 I was unable to import william hill cash hands due to a uk date problem. I read the release notes for the beta which said this has been fixed.
I have been a while getting round to downloading the beta and only did it today.
I have successfully imported 10,000 hands ,but the dates are a bit askew.
If the day in the month is 12 or less then the date is read in US format ie 10th april 2009 reads as 4th october 2009. If the day is 13 or higher then the date reads correctly for UK format. any ideas?tot10ham

I thought that was fixed - does it say Beta 27.1 in the title bar when you run PT3 now?
If so, please enable logging, reproduce the problem by playing a few hands on a single table and submit your PokerTracker.log and PokerTrackerHUD.log files (zip/compress them first, call it logs.zip) to the Support system , and link to this thread in the reference field of the ticket so that we can investigate.

What HM version are you guys using? Importing fine for me with 1.08.04

gibouille

Hello.

I am using version 1.08.03.

Today it was importing fine.... but considering the date was 6/4 (6th of April) rather than 4/6 (4th of June).

It confirms that the date format bug allows HEM to work from 1st to 12th of the month, but with side effects on the date of imported hands.

And the rest of the month, we have the choice between changing room, or changing tracker.

The solution provided in 1.09 7 at least gets the HUD going again for WH. But there is still soemething wrong. All the hands imported is grouped under "today". I cant filter by date.

Well, at least the HUD is working and that helps. Thanks.

When I go to my graph, and set the filter to "today" all my previous hands, played on previous days, are also included in the graph.

Yeah I have the same problem. Can't get the HUD to load up which I assume is also to do with the XML files.

OK, I will send some hands just now. But in the meantime, have a look below. I took this screenshot just now. On the "Hands" tab, I selected "Today", but have a look at the dates on the left. As you know, today is the 19th, but look at those dates: 12/06/09.

And I did hit the "Refresh" button before taking the screenshot.

Rvg72

ok, I think i know the problem. These hands are actually being recorded as December 6th and when you use the Today filter it returns any hands that were played after midnight (including hands that happened 6 months ahead in the future like HM thinks these ones are... Most likely they were incorrectly imported before so starting a new DB (ensuring that the william fill config file change is set) should fix all this

Here are the steps to update the config

1) Close HM
2) Open the HoldemManager.config and find <setting name="WilliamHillAlternateDateFormat">False</setting>
3) Change this to <setting name="WilliamHillAlternateDateFormat">True</setting>
4) Save and close and then relaunch Holdem Manager
