I have the last update of hem(trial) . I ve followed that guide http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/395/Setup+Preferred+Seating+for+Ongame%5CBwin%5CBetfai r and managed to work it while testing on low cash games 10max and 6max but i am mainly a sng player and in sngs (10man , 5man)positioning doesnt work at all.

any suggestions?

which table size does the table manager display for the tables?

usually this procedure should work:
configure the preferred seating of your pokerclient and the seating preferences in hm accordingly (if you don't use this you can skip this step).
* open one table, play at least one hand
* move the stats with the right mouse key to the correct positions
* table manager -> file -> save positions
* mucked cards: see this: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/53/mucked+cards+are+not+correctly+aligned+
* now you can open further tables but you will always have to play at least one hand for the stats being moved to the correct positions.

so i followed your intructions and still nothing . i ve opened a 10man sng , it placed me at 8 position , after 10 or so hands i moved the boxes next to the right names , then i saved the positions via table manager , opened a second 10man , it placed me again in 8 position but after some hands the boxes were still wrong , and so it was with the rest sngs i ve opened , i was forced once again to use the "change seat" option to move in each sng in the correct spot where the boxes were.have to mention than in each sng the stats were in different places each time , for example in a table the box with my stats were in 6 position , in the other it was in 4 etc while my seat when an sng is opened is in 8pos every time. in cach if i sit in 8 pos everytime the boxes are correct

What firewall/anti virus are you using? Some times there are conflicts with them.
