I am trying to install holdem manager but when i try to install the postgreSQL i get the error saying:

The specified data directory is not empty.

If you have an existing database with the same major version number, you do not need to initialize a database cluster.
If you have an existing database with a different major version you need to back up your old database and create a new one.

I have no idea what this means but it may have something to do with me using PT3 before this.

I have tried just about everything with uninstalling everything including pt3 and then reinstalling hem, and then i tried turning all anti-virus things off and got no result.

Can someone ple save me.......its putting me on tilt :)

Thanx

I just tried it again with unticking it and PostgreSQL installs but when i open HEM its says:

A connection to PostgreSQL could not be made......hem will attempt to start it.....but it fails.

Any other suggestions?

Please try this http://holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8182 and if the problem persists email me to arrange a teamviewer session and also link to this thread morny@holdemmanager.net
