View Full Version : Old computer, new key
I recently bought a computer off a friend that already had HoldEm Manager installed with his key. I just purchased a key of my own but can't find a way to get my friend's old key out. Is there some way I can get my friend's key off and use mine? I tried uninstalling/reinstalling but no luck.

Go to Help > Clear serial
if you get an error then follow these instructions
In Vista
1) Go to Windows Control Panel – Folder Options and then go to step 2 below
In XP
1) In windows explorer click on the Tools Menu and selection Options and then go to step 2 below
2) Click View Tab
3) Uncheck the “Hide protected operating system files” and then press ok
4) Look in your Holdem Manager folder and you should see a file named holdemmanager.exe.ldat – delete it
5) Relaunch HM
Finally reboot HM and enter your new code
No help menu, I receive the activation request screen when I start HEM. There's also no holdemmanager.exe.ldat file (I double checked file settings to make sure show hidden and system files was enabled)
