What version do you have? Can you look in the log.txt file in your appdata\roaming\holdemmanager folder, go to the very end, and post the error if one is shown there

Hijacking this thread: I have the same problem. Just installed the Beta from the link in the email I got. Trying to start the software it crashes. Restarting my WinXP and also executing the autoupdater did not help. Attached the log file.

Getting the same problem, eror report has been sent.

Did have access originally and managed to import all HH's. My HUD wouldn't recognise my preffered seating though, despite haveing them allocated in Stars and HEM2.

We will investigate.

For the HUD issue, export the HUD, then delete the configs folder (see above post for location) and also the one in c:\program files\holdemmanager2 folder.

Then reinstall using the link in the above post.

Thank you for your quick response!

Although my hidden files are shown, I do not have a folder "appdata" - it is probably equivalent to "application data" in my German XP version. Still, I have no HoldemManager folder in there I could delete.

So I just uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem persists...

Have you tried reinstalling Net Framework?
Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework 4:
1) Download and run this uninstaller - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
2) Install this one: Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9cfb2d51-5ff4-4491-b0e5-b386f32c0992)

HM2 won't start for me either. It was working fine then seemingly out of the blue it started asking me to send error reports due to an unexpected crash. After the error report it just shuts down. I've tried deleting everything in the appdata folder except for "Database", but that hasn't solved the problem. I've also tried reinstalling .Net 4 and that hasn't solved the problem. I have attatched the error log.
