Yesterday the software froze for why I had to shut down my computer unproperly. Now this error message pops up when I want to start HM2. I cannot open the programme.

I cannot just uninstall the software and then install it again since I loose a lot of hands by doing so.

Anyone?

Delete your config folder:

Win 7/Vista: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\

If you cant see the AppData folder you might need to enable hidden files: How to show hidden files in Windows 7 (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial151.html)

Win XP: c:\documents and settings\{username}\appdata\HoldemManager

Then reinstall Holdem Manager from this link: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/Hm2AutoUpdate34.exe

If the problem persists please email your log to hm2support@holdemmanager.com, youll find the log in the C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager folder, the file will be called log.txt

Isn't that just the folder for my old HoldemManager? Nothing happens when I have deleted the config folder. HM2 doesn't get to work.

Best thing to do is send your log.txt file to the support address. Also, make sure you grab the latest build that is available as of today since there was a known problem with the last one that caused crashing for some people
