View Full Version : Trying to add-on Omaha Manager

Hi

I have used HEM for some time now, but recently switched to O8. I read that you could get Omaha Manager cheaper when adding it to HEM, rather than buying it separately. I went to the HEM site, Omaha Manager, Download free trial. It downloaded, but when I ran the .exe, it was HEM which was installed, not OM. The serial number is still the same, but I can now use neither HEM nor OM.

Would you please advise how I:
1) get OM at the upgrade price
2) get back use of HEM.

Instead of buying "Omaha Manager", buy
"Omaha Manager UPGRADE".

It will ask you for you current HM1 serial during the purchase process.
And you'll receive a new Holdem + Omaha (combined license) serial.


To use HoldemManager again before you have received your new serial.
Which error do you get now exactly?

I followed your instructions and that has worked, thanks. I spoke too soon on HEM - it appears to work; I was thrown by the "Register" message which came up at the start, but that is different from the first time registration.

hey, iv got simillar problem.
i made the same upgrade, recived serial.
now i cant run hem n type new license.
do i have 2 download an upgrade or something else?

To enable you to enter the new serial:

First of all, we need to enable the option to see Hidden Files: How to see hidden files in Windows (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html)

Problems Registering Holdem Manager:

Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

This is a hidden SYSTEM file. (not just a regular hidden file)

Also please try this:

1. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
2. Open HM and register
3. Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file

Hi,

Your old PRO code that was disabled, is stuck in the log file.

I have temporarily enabled that code so you should now be able to open HM and register it again, using the old code.

Once the old code is registered you need to clear the code, restart HM, and register the new PR2 code.

1) Help > Registration > Clear HM or OM License
2) Close HM, restart HM, click Register, and finish the registration process.


If you continue to have registration issues, please send your Reg.log file from the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs folder. If your Windows is hiding known file extensions the file will simply be called 'reg'.

Email that file to support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread.

I requested P* HH to my email. What should i do 2 let HEM track it?

Save the emails to folder X:

And either add folder X as an auto import folder, or run a import from folder on it.

it didnt work. saved email 2 folder and c&p 2 notepad hh from email.

Do the hands import into a new database?

set the date formatting of your computer to M/d/yyyy (and not to European default d/M/yyyy) with regional settings English (United States)

Options--> Database Management--> Connect--> Create New Database--> (set it as default)--> Start HoldemManager
