View Full Version : Issues with my license key

My holdem manager worked normally few hours ago. Now when I begun to play again it just says that I have unregistered version. I have bought normal holdem manager and also omaha manager so I have two different serial numbers.

Well first thing what happens is that holdem manager opens "validation notice" and there's PC#1 and PC#2 options. I tried both of them and then there's "activatin online" phase. Well after that I got a message "there were errors during activation" etc.
Retry didn't work. I pushed cancel. and then opened another window. "0 of 15 days remaining". I don't have trial version.

Well after pushing few cancels I got a different window. "there is issues with your license. Here are some tips to help to get you up and running". There's "Your serial number" and my omaha manger serial is shown on that field.
I tried to unactivate my seriel from my account on your webpages. I pushed that "reset all your profiles" button few times and I got few emails that my license key has been reset by admin. Well why is there still status "active".

So wtf is wrong with my holdem manager? I didn't update my computer. I didn't do anything. My computer just idled few hours and after that I've got nothing but problems.
So I'm now pretty pissed off and I hope you have some solution for me. :mad:

Same problem. I was fine an hour ago, rebooted my PC, message seems to say that I'm having problems connecting with the licensing server.

I had this problem yesterday. I think one of their servers that validates the HEM license is down. Just have to wait until the server is back up. I've been trying every 10 minutes or so, but no luck, yet.

That explanation sort of makes sense. It'd be nice to have it confirmed, though, not sure why this thread would be going for 5 hours without someone from HEM indicate that this is the case.

We had a temporary issue with our server which is now resolved and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you have not already done so please try running Holdem Manager again. If you continue to have registration issues, please send your updated Reg.log file from the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs folder. If your Windows is hiding known file extensions the file will simply be called 'reg'.

Had no problems since yesterday, now I'm getting the same error message that I can't connect to the licensing server that I got yesterday. Is there another problem with the licensing server?

If you continue to have registration issues, please send your updated Reg.log file from the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs folder. If your Windows is hiding known file extensions the file will simply be called 'reg'.

Run a manual Windows Update and install ALL updates.

Which Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.

Also please try this:

1. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
2. Open HM and register
3. Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file
