cant find my nicname

I just downloaded the free trial of holdem manager. I played few hands but when I try to select my name in the "select player" window to run some report , I can't find my name or any other name. In fact, in the bottom of the windows, there is "0 players" indicated. How does it work ?? Also, when hands are importing during a game, this is what I see:

files imported : 1 of 1
Hands imported: 0 ?? Hands imported 0, is it normal

This means the handhistories weren't imported.

And make sure HoldemManager imports the handhistories.
