im a importing a huge set of hands I exported from my old DB.
I let it run over night but it was not finished..
I wanted to continue importing last night but i encountered a problem.
the import starts all over again.. it just duplicates all night and almost none new hands were added.
this does happen when i import a small set of hands (~3MB)
the size of the new import is 10GB!
what can i do about this??

I now made 5 folders with each 2 GB..
Do you think HEM can import over 2GB hands in one night? if so, than I have the good DB in 5 nights..

I guess the exported files are pretty large? Then HM doesn't remember which files are already imported.

How many hands HM can import depends on the speed of your computer and the size of the files and type of hands. You should try it with smaller samples.

If the .txt files are small <200 KB, they should import with 40+ hands/s
If the .txt files are large >1 MB, they should still import at 40+ hands/s but it will take a long time for HoldemManager to scan the file for duplicate hands.

Don't add such a folder as an auto import folder and then run a auto import.
Make sure run an "import from folder" on these hands.
