how do i add a buddy?

im sorry if this is a basic question, i not a techy guy. I've tried looking everywhere and clicking on everything but I can't figure out how to make someone a buddy, friend, reg etc. Also, once I do this will they show up in the table scanner as my buddy?

go to the table scanner tab in the list of players sitting on a table there are colums with checkboxes for buddy, friend and regular.
just check this box to make someone your body.

in this context i could imagine a feature allowing me to add a buddy via the HUD !

whoops! I was right clicking and opening tabs all over the place, all i had to do was scroll over haha. Awsome, thanks for the reply!:)
