View Full Version : Database timeout after upgrade

Hi!

Yesterday I upgraded to the latest version and everything worked. Today it suddenly stopped working. It says "connection establishment timeout. Timeout value in connection string." Then the database control panel shows up.

I have Windows XP and play on everest if that's any help!

Can anyone please help me?

I also tried to switch off the anti-virus software and firewall. It didn't help!

Please update to this version http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe and if the problem persists then completely uninstall the firewall and antivirus as disabling them dosent fix the problem

please read what I have written!

I wrote that the problem came AFTER I updated to that new version!

And I also wrote that I HAD tried turning of Windows XP firewall and Avast anti-virus.

Please help or refer me to where I can get some help. I'm really stuck and I have seen others in the forum with the same problem but no solution.

Since it worked just right after I updated it, I tried to update it once again now. With my anti-virus and firewall off.

Still "time out..." came up.

turning off the antivirus/firewall dosent allways work, can you try completely uninstalling them and if the problem persists after uninstalling them ill have a look via teamviewer (just remember to have them uninstalled completely before we start the session)

Just restart the computer! I wish someone have told me so I haven't spent several hours in anguish looking for solutions!
