Is it normal for it to use 400mb of memory and spike to 25-30% cpu every ~5secs or so? Im using a Q6600 quad core fwiw. Is there anything I can do to reduce the cpu requirement?

Please see this solutions http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=162

Id be leaning more towards either the firewall or antivirus causing this, can you uninstall them both to test (disabling dosent work) and if that dosent work try the other steps above.

I tried uninstalling my antivirus and firewall, but it had no effect. When auto import is running but no hands are being imported, it will run at 0-20% CPU and around 300-500mb ram [no tables open, no hud]. When it is importing a lot of hands it will use up to 25% cpu and >1.5gb ram. I tried the other fixes in the FAQ but they weren't successful. Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Can you attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder and i look into it further

Remove subfolders for this auto import folder C:\Microgaming\Poker\ladbrokesMPP and you can leave on archiving and this should solve the problem, you might need to reboot afterwards
